 *In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful* *Press statement issued by the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine* The Zionist terrorist aggression against Lebanon continues, targeting the brotherly Lebanese people, and has so far resulted in the death of hundreds of martyrs and the wounding of hundreds of innocent civilians since this morning. This brutal attack is a continuation of the aggressive policies pursued by the occupation, and it once again highlights the Zionist enemy’s disregard for all humanitarian norms and international laws. We affirm that this widespread aggression is a clear war crime, expressing the fascist nature of the Zionist entity, which constantly seeks to undermine stability in the region, and is a danger to all its peoples. This aggression also reveals the internal crises suffered by the enemy’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and his Nazi government, in an open attempt to export its political failure by intensifying its crimes and rejecting all initiatives to stop its ongoing crimes against our people in Gaza, which increases the suffering of the Palestinian people and deepens the tragedy of the entire region. In this context, we declare our full solidarity with our brothers in Hezbollah and the brotherly Lebanese people in the face of this brutal aggression, and we call on the Arab and Islamic peoples to move by all means and capabilities to reject these ongoing crimes. We view with suspicion the International Criminal Court’s procrastination in assuming its responsibilities and taking the necessary legal measures to prosecute the leaders of the Zionist entity and prosecute them for their crimes against humanity. International silence regarding these crimes will only complicate the situation and give the enemy more time to continue its crimes. We also condemn the behavior and positions of the American administration, which provides a blatant cover for the continuation of the massacres committed by the entity, and provides it with ammunition, absolute support, and political cover. This unconditional support makes the American administration an actual partner in this aggression against the peoples of our nation and our region.
